The above named student and Executive Security International (referred to as the School) agree as follows:

  1. All Residency Programs are entirely conducted in classroom settings and at ESI’s training facility in a 18 to 28-Day format. The Residency Programs include: Executive Protection, PSD Protective Operations and Protective Intelligence. The applicant understands that Tuition does not cover ammunition, food or lodging during Resident Training or transportation to the training sites.
  2. Upon satisfactory completion of the above named programs of study and upon payments of all tuition, fees, and obligations due from the student, the School, will award the appropriate certificate. In addition, ESI offers special Identification Credential to those students who complete attain a Grade Point Average of 80% or above. No Certificate or Credential is awarded until the Program is completed and Tuition paid.
  3. The School further agrees to provide counsel to the student on self-marketing about employment in the security industry. However, the applicant understands that the School cannot and does not promise or guarantee employment following graduation from the School. Upon graduation, the School will facilitate access to the ESI Alumni Association Network, which regularly post job notices on the ESI Network Yahoo Group. The school will grant free membership in the ESI Alumni Association and access to the Network for the first six months following graduation. Thereafter the graduate is responsible to paying annual membership fees.
  4. In consideration of such program of study and related service, student agrees to pay tuition fees due to ESI. Above amount will be paid in accordance to the terms and conditions specified within the Enrollment Agreement executed between the student and Executive Security International and made part of this Enrollment Agreement.
  5. Student agrees to comply with the standards, rules and regulations of the school in effect at the to time, and student understands that his or her failure to comply with the standards, rules and regulations of the School will entitle the School to terminate this Agreement with no prior notice to the student. In the event of such termination, the refund policy set forth in Business Policy will apply.
  6. It is understood that this Agreement sets forth the entire Agreement between the parties, and Executive Security International makes no representations on warranties other than those expressed in this Agreement. Complaints can be filed with the Division of Private Occupational Schools. There is a two (2) year time limitation on the Division taking action on a student's complaint.   7. The school does not guarantee the transferability of its credits to any other institution unless there is a written agreement with another institution.

REFUND POLICY FOR VETERANS ENROLLED IN
  FULL TIME RESIDENCY MODULE COURSES

For Veterans who are eligible to pay for the tuition from VA Educational Benefit plans are protected by this Refund Agreement until the student has completed 100% of the training program.

Students not accepted by the school and students who cancel the contract by notifying the school within three business days are entitled to a full refund of all tuition and fees paid. If any students withdraw after three business days, but before commencement of classes, are entitled to a full refund of all tuition and fees paid except the registration fee.

In the case of students after commencement of classes, the school will retain a cancellation fee plus a percentage of tuition and fees, which is based on the percentage of contact hours attended, as described in the table below. The refund is based on the first date of recorded attendance.

The student may cancel this contract at any time prior to close of the third business day after signing the enrollment agreement.

The official date of termination for refund purposes is the last date of recorded attendance. All refunds will be made within 30 days from the date of termination.

The student will receive a full refund of tuition and fees paid if the school discontinues a course or program within a period of time a student could have reasonably completed it, except that this provision shall not apply in the event the school ceases operation.

Complaints, which cannot be resolved by direct negotiation between the student and the school, may be filed with the Division of Private Occupational Schools of Colorado Department of Higher Education. The Division shall not consider any claim that is filed more than two years after the date the student discontinues his/her training at the school.
