Residency Certificate Programs

ESI is approved by the Colorado Office of Veterans Education and Training
(COVET) for Veterans Education and Training Benefits.
ESI is also eligible for MyCAA - Financial Assistance to Military Spouses

The Close Protection Residency Programs consist of an integrated academic and practical training curriculum that contain four Modules: Module-1 is a 20-Day Corporate Security and Threat Management Program; Module-2 is a 28-Day Executive Protection curriculum in executive, dignitary and celebrity protection; Module 3 is a 28-Day PSD Protective Operations course designed for protective operations in high risk combat zones; Module 4 is a 28-Day Tactical 1st Responder Medical Program. The Residency Certificates provide a fast track to a professional career and they are equivalent to our combined Distance Education/ Resident Training format.

The Resident Programs are an intelligence-based curriculum with a special emphasis on preparing protection specialists to operate in corporate, celebrity and close personal protection in international and domestic venues. The PSD program incorporates civil police and military protocols in the principles of personal protection in high risk combat zones, including third world environments of Iraq and Afghanistan. The career objective of this training is to prepare the ESI graduate for a professional occupation as a close protection agent in a wide range of security environments. What distinguishes ESI from practically every other security training organization in the country is that ESI teaches to a Standard, meaning that students must demonstrate understanding and competence in each component of the training modules.
