- Executive Protection

The Executive Protection program is an integrated academic and practical training curriculum consisting of the 450 hours in Distance Education and a 15-Day (150 hour) Resident Training in executive protection, dignitary and personal protection and celebrity security.
While honing traditional hard reactive skills, ESI's training philosophy includes Pre-Emptive Intervention skills with an emphasis on Behavioral, Predictive and Proactive Intelligence.
- Special Operations
(C.S.O.P.S.)
ESI offers a Special Operations Protection Program consisting of nine Distance Education Courses and a 15-Day Resident Training. This program follows federal agency protocols of Personal Security Details (PSD) in high risk environments and incorporates the experience of operators who work in combat zones of Iraq, Afghanistan and Bosnia.
The course will focus on Protective Operations in High Risk Areas, Principal Briefings, Surveillance Detection and Countermeasures, Formations while working the Principal, Response to Assault on Principal (AOP), Explosives Recognition and Improvised Roadside Bomb Attacks.
- Security Specialist

The Security Specialist Program combines the core programs of High Risk, Executive Protection and Protective Intelligence & Investigation. It affords the student the flexibility to design a course of instruction that is organized specifically to the student's needs.
Security Specialist combines 18 elective Distance Education courses with a choice of at least one 15-Day Resident Training in Executive Protection and Special Operations or an 18-Day residency in Protective Intelligence & Investigation.
- Residency Programs Certified Protection &
Intelligence Specialist

The Personal Protection & Intelligence Resident Program is an integrated academic and practical training curriculum consisting of three Modules.
The Residency Modules offer the same Certification as the combined Distance Ed/15-Day Resident Training Programs.
Module 1 is a 28-Day Executive Protection Residency; Module 2 is a 28-Day Special Operations Residency; and Module 3 is an 18-Day Protective Intelligence & Investigation Residency.
- Aggression Detection
&
Pre-Emptive Intervention
(Workshops & Seminars)
The three day Workshop on Aggression Detection & Pre-Emptive Intervention focuses on perfecting observational and preemptive techniques to interrupt assaults on public figures. The Workshop Series is based on Dr. John Byrnes' identification of Primal and Cognitive Aggression management system, and David A. Nichter's Legal Defensibility of Preemptive Intervention.
- Anti-Kidnapping /
Anti-Secuestro
ESI-Mexico offers an Anti-Kidnapping / Anti-Secuestro Protection & Intelligence Program it´s a custom designed curriculum taught in Spanish throughout Mexico and Latin America.
The Anti-Kidnapping staff is an international group of ESI's renown American, Mexican and Colombian intelligence officers who have incomparable experience dealing with terrorist and mercenary attacks on private and public families.
Unlike the Programs offered in the U.S., the Spanish language training is not Open Enrollment to individuals. ESI's Program is offered exclusively to corporate and governmental agencies by contractual agreement after consultation with the needs of the client.







Anti-Kidnapping 


Rodrigo Muñoz is a Founder and Director of ESI-Mexico. Rodrigo has been associated with ESI since its incorporation in 1980, and completed both ESI's Executive Protection and Protective Intelligence and Investigation training programs during ESI's earliest years. His association with ESI began as a devoted martial artists under Bob Duggan during the 1970's at the Aspen Academy of Martial arts where he was introduced to Hwa Rang Do and became Mexico's first Black Belt in the art under Mr. Duggan's instruction.
The recent assassination of an esteemed ESI Instructor, Eduardo Rodriguez Masso in Tamaulipas, Mexico, shocked his family, friends and colleagues. He was gunned down in his office by a hit team dressed as police officers in December 2007. At this date, no suspects are apprehended nor is a precise motivation for the contract killing known.
