After 30 years training Close Protection professionals, ESI is opening its world class shooting program to the public and offering its graduates the opportunity to express their enthusiasm for shooting in regional and national competition bearing the ESI colors. ESI’s Senior Instructors:

BLOCK 1-FIVE-DAYS

DEFENSIVE SHOOTING: HANDGUN BASIC & TACTICAL

ESI's Basic, Tactical and CQB Shooting Courses are designed with the objective of preparing Protection Specialist as well as the amateur shooter with the special skills and judgments demanded by professionals. Tactical Shooting or CQB courses are organized into Basic and Advanced Blocks that require passage before the student is permitted into the higher Blocks or Level 2 Shooting Course.

ESI has long advocated realistic training which means students will train on a “Hot Range” where students carry their weapons in their holsters ready to fire on command at single or multiple targets. We have also been advocates of Reactive Steel Targets, Stress Induced Shooting, Force on Force, Movement and Shoot, Movement with Client While Shooting

The 5-Day Executive Protection Defensive Shooting course is an integral component of the Executive Protection Program. It is also a Stand-Alone course with Open Enrollment, which allows for non-professionals to enroll in just the EP Defensive Shooting Course. The course of instruction includes the following:

BLOCK 2 FIVE DAYS

TACTICAL SHOTGUN AND HANDGUN

Block 2 of Tactical Shotgun and Handgun is an advanced Run-n-Gun shooting course. Participants must pass Block 1 Executive Protection Defensive Shooting Course with an 80% shooting score and Staff evaluation in order to be eligible to enroll.

The Three Day Basic CQB Carbine & Handgun course is an introductory shooting program. It includes the following course of instruction:
