Certified Corporate Executive Protection

TRAINING DATESPRICES

The Corporate Executive Protection program is an integrated academic and practical training curriculum consisting of a 10-Day (100 hours) Resident Training in executive protection, and two Distance Ed courses, Principles of Protection and Stalking and Other Dangerous Individuals. The student will receive the finest and most intense training available in the private sector. The program is an intelligence based protection program with a special emphasis on corporate and international protection specialists; the program also covers civil police, and military protocols in the principles of personal protection. The career objective of this training is to prepare the ESI graduate for a professional occupation in corporate executive protection. Other career alternatives include chauffeur, courier services, hotel and casino security, industrial and private estate protection.

ESI's hallmark as a training academy in protection is its emphasis on Operational Intelligence as the basis of comprehensive personal and corporate security. In its incipient first decade, ESI placed an inordinate focus on Reactive Skills: protective formations, evasive driving, martial arts and shooting. As ESI enters its third decade of training, we continue to believe in the importance of well honed martial skills, but ten years ago ESI shifted its training philosophy to Pre-Emptive Intervention skills with an emphasis on Behavioral, Predictive and Proactive Intelligence. Our second Core Program: Protective Intelligence & Investigation deepens and broadens the protective agent's training in higher levels of personal and corporate security. ESI's core philosophy is that these skills are indispensable to any protection program, and is what distinguishes a Protection Specialist from a Bodyguard. Moreover, it is what distinguishes ESI from practically every other training organization in the world.

Considered as a single curriculum, the Corporate Executive Protection Program consists of an intensive study of executive, dignitary and celebrity protection. On the average, it requires one to two months to complete the academic program. If the student is enrolled in the Distance Ed format, the Program will move at the rate that the student invest time in their studies, and it can be completed in a much shorter period than the average. The student should complete the two Distance Ed courses prior to arrival at Resident Training.

CD ROM CONVERSION

ESI has converted most of its copyrighted text books and printed manuals into CD Acrobat PDF format. Both the VIP Protection Manual and Stalking and Other Dangerous Individuals text are comprised of 500 page documents. The CD Rom format facilitates student mobility and shipping to ESI's growing international student body.

This program is designed to provide professional protection specialists with a wide range of skills to enter into careers in executive protection. Students who successfully complete the course will be certified by ESI. In order to achieve Corporate Executive Protection Certificate, the student must complete two Distance Education Courses as well as the 10-Day Resident Program which is everything required of the ESI C.P.S. Credential except five days of Defensive Shooting and seven Distance Ed courses; it is strongly recommended that the Required Academic Courses be completed prior to arrival for Resident Training.

Includes: Principles of Protection; Protective Detail Operations; Unarmed Defensive Tactics; Bomb Search and Identification; First Respondent Medicine; Electronic Security; Stalking and Dangerous Human Behavior. Food and lodging is separate, but ESI negotiates the best room rates available.

Cary Kern and John Grauer,

Detail with Governor Dean

"It was amazing how many people in the Security Industry are familiar with the Outstanding reputation E.S.I. has!! I am convinced that I would not have made it this far without you and E.S.I."

"Students don't care what you know until they know you care.
We care both before and after you train at ESI."

COMPLETION TIME

You may register in the program at any time and work as rapidly as is consistent with your schedule and satisfactory scholarship. Each course contains nine Lessons and is designed to be completed in 30 days. However, there are two factors that determine completion time. First, how fast you study, because our courses will move at the speed that you move and many students complete the course in much less time. Second, is the finance program that you choose! ESI is approved by Sallie Mae, a federally approved student tuition loan company. If you are approved by Sallie Mae, you will receive all your Distance Ed courses in one or two shipments. If you self finance at no interest, courses are sent at the rate that you pay for them.

We recommend that you work at a steady pace to complete each course approximately within the time frame allowed; on the average it will require 15 to 20 hours per week to complete the course on schedule.

The cost of administration and initial registration is separate from the cost of the individual courses which are itemized.
