REFERRAL SERVICES AND ESI NETWORK PDF Print E-mail

The ESI Alumni Association was created to facilitate networking of security professionals and ESI Graduates. Security jobs are offered weekly as well as collegial advice and consultation for fellow associate members in an exclusive ESI Network Chat Group and communication links. In addition, the ESI Alumni Association conducts annual conferences for both members and non-members in major cities like Las Vegas. The ESI conference is held in high regard for the quality of speakers who address current issues in the security world. These annual events are important venues for members to exchange information and make contact with business owners who are searching for experienced and well trained professionals.

ESI Referral Services

ESI refers graduates to potential clients and employers and will do so for as long as the graduate remains in the industry.   ESI continues to refer and locate placement for its graduates who completed their Certifications in the early 1980's. ESI also markets graduates on the Graduate Page on this Site by individual arrangement. Moreover, ESI will provide a "headhunting service" for clients who wish to maintain a contractual relationship with ESI as their human resource center.

We encourage every student who receives a Certificate of Training or Degree Diploma to use ESI as a reference on any security job application. We will give the best possible recommendations, based on test scores and personal evaluations of the student.

ESI does not guarantee placement as a result of training at our academy. No academy or school can legally claim guaranteed placement, and the few that do are concealing the fact that included in the tuition is payment for four days of a "faux protection detail in a foreign country". Schools and universities have only their reputation for the quality of their instruction and caliber of their staff to trade on in the market place. Not even the Ivy League schools like Harvard can guarantee a future in the field of your choice. The difference between most other schools and ESI is that our graduates are major assets to ESI for the balance of their career in the security field.

ESI educates it's graduates about employment opportunities by identifying public and private agencies, industries, companies, and individuals who demonstrate a need for professional security, chauffeur services, courier services, investigations, intelligence operations, etc.

ESI assists its graduates with their careers for both entry and management level positions, and for  temporary and long term employment. ESI has a vested interest in the continued success of its graduates, since ESI's reputation is linked to successful career achievements of its graduates.

Graduates must accept responsibility for their own career job search with the understanding that ESI will provide reasonable assistance upon request. Reasonable assistance may include referrals to available positions, access to industry information, career planning and advisement, as well as recommendations to prospective employers of ESI graduates.

ESI's recommendations and referrals for jobs in the protection and investigation field will be based upon the staff's objective judgment of character and capabilities of each student as demonstrated by scores achieved while involved with ESI training, and verified information gathered from the ESI "Personal History Questionnaire."  ESI's efforts towards placement in the security industry will be aimed at positions commensurate with each graduate's level of experience, education and ability.

To be eligible for referrals, a graduate must be in good academic and financial standing with ESI and, further, must complete all necessary forms and supply all necessary information as requested by ESI. Failure of graduate to supply information is evidence that the graduate does not require assistance from ESI.
