What makes Executive Security International, Ltd. ESI, different from other schools?

Founded in 1980, ESI is the oldest intelligence, reality based close protection academy in the country. ESI combines the depth and breadth of theory and practice in all of its Core Programs in Executive Protection, Protective Intelligence and PSD Protective Operations. The student has the option of studying in a combined Distance Education/Resident Training format or entirely in Residency. The unique design of ESI training programs provide an opportunity to apply concepts of protection and intelligence to the practical world in the company of a staff who have years of experience in the field. Our view is that this is a profession that cannot be comprehensively covered in a week long seminar or simply by studying theory in books. ESI compels the student to apply the theory in a supportive atmosphere of a faculty who know the difference between the real world and the theoretical.

How much does ESI cost?

The cost of ESI’s programs depends on the format that you choose. The Executive Protection and the PSD Protective Operations program are offered in either a 28 day residency format or 9 distance education courses and 15 day on site resident training. Prices can be found at www.esi-lifeforce.com/admissions-enrollment/download-enrollment-form/enroll-on-line-2.html

How do I know if distance learning is for me?

Ask yourself the following questions:

  • Are you self-disciplined and an independent learner?
  • Do you have access to the internet on a regular basis?
  • Are you comfortable using computers?

Distance learning courses allow you to study when you are available. We know you have work and family demands that make it difficult to be in the classroom. Our students find the online community at Executive Security International to be easy to access, efficient and supportive of their needs.
