The Security Specialist combines the core programs of PSD Protective Operations., Executive Protection and Protective Intelligence. It affords the student the flexibility to design a course of instruction that is organized specifically to the student's needs. Any course taken in another program is applicable to the CSS Credential that is full academic and financial credit is awarded for completion of courses in a parallel program.
A Security Specialist is a "generalist" in the sense that the student can craft knowledge and job related skills to a broad range of security assignments. In today's world, many of the traditional roles of private security which in the past were quite separate have now begun to meld together. A protection specialist may be expected to perform a number of assignments for a client: provide executive or family security, conduct investigations, collect competitor intelligence, or carry out intricate electronic countermeasures. The Security Specialist Program allows for the full spectrum of practical skills and training to prepare the graduate for multiple tasks. SECURITY SPECIALIST PROGRAM
