Andrew Downing is a 1996 graduate of ESI's Advance Executive Protection Program. He has been working in the security field for thirteen years. The work began as a military police officer, and later nightclub security. After graduation from ESI, he was recruited to provide entertainer escort in Las Vegas and casino security. In addition, Andrew was a quality assurance inspector for one of the world's largest private security companies and he has worked celebrity protection in Los Angeles, California and as a tactical security police officer on overseas contracts. He spent ten years in the United States Air Force, and currently holds a secret security clearance. Andrew has held both Secret and Top Secret clearances in the past.

Mr. Downing's best qualities and skills are honesty, integrity, loyalty, professionalism, a high regard for people skills and has worked in a supervisory position numerous times. He believes in paying attention to detail and he is well organized. Other training besides his certification by ESI's 600-hour executive protection program, includes Military Police Academy, 1986, Vance International's Tactical Security Officer Training, June 1996, Omni Institute Close Personal Protection Course, October 1997, California Security Officer Certificate Class, August 1996, Red Cross First Aid & CPR Certificate, February 1999, and he is within five classes from attaining his Associate Degree in Security Administration.
